第一课
Last week I went to the theare.But I didn't enjoy the play. A yung man and a yung woman were sitting behind me,and they were talking loudly ,so I couldn't hear the actors.I turned round and said:"I can't hear a word!" But the yung man said:"This is a private conversation."

I always get up late on Sundays.Last Sunday I got up late and then my aunt Lucy telephoned.She had just arrived by train.She was coming to see me .But I said:"I was still having breakfast,she was very suprised ,because it was one o'clock.

I have just received a letter from my brother,Tim.He is an engineer.He has been in Australia for six months and he has already visited many places.He is in Alice Springs.He has never been abroad before, so he is enjoy his trip very much.

Mr.Scott has a garage in Silbury and now he has opended his seconed garage in Pinhurst,it's five miles from Silbury,but he can't got a telephone for
his new garage.So he bought twelve pigeons,they carry messages from one garage to the other in three minutes.

I have just moved to a house in Bridge Street.Yesterday a beggar knocked at my door .He asked me for a meal and a glass of beer and He sang songs.His name is Percy Buttons .
He calls at every house in the street once a month .
