1 sometime,some time与sometimes三个都可以表示时间。它们看起来没多大区别，但用法却各不相同。
sometimes用作副词，表示“有的时候”，与from time to time 意思相同，可以把它放在句首，句尾或句中。sometimes是频率副词，它暗指某动作（在过去、现在或将来）有时候重复。如：
Last year she went to the park sometimes.
Sometimes I get up at six.
I sometimes think you are wrong.
2 sometime 用作副词。表示某个不确切或不具体的时间，表示“某个时候”，它后面应该接一个过去或将来的时间。例如：
Tom went back home sometime last month.
We will have a meeting sometime next week.(sometime last year,sometime next month等常修饰非延续性的谓语)
另外，sometime还可以用作形容词，表示“以前的”，如：
A sometime student of yours is waiting for you at the gate.
3 some time 表示"一些时间"或“一段时间”，可以用作名词或副词短语。例如：
She always spends some time on her English.
It took us some time to water the flowers.
some time表"某一段时间"时，常常修饰延续性的谓语。如：
She stayed in bed for some time.
I will work in Japan for some time.
4. some times 是名词词组，意为“几次，几倍”，如：
I met him some times in the street last month.
The factory is some times larger than that one.

other, others, the other, the others的区别
others为other的复数形式，other和one对称使用，仅限于两者之间；others和some对称使用。如；1.She has two children. One is a student. The other is a worker. 2. Some students like learning science while others like art.
other和the other的区别 other 用做形容词，修饰名词或代词，一般不能单独做主语或宾语；the other用做代词，可以做主语或宾语。
others 和the others的区别仅仅在于定冠词的问题，有the为特指，有一定的范围
如：Some students of Class Two went to the cinema while the others were studying in the classroom.(仅仅是二班的学生，没有其他学生）；上面的例句2就没有范围，指所有的学生。

others和some对比使用时, 是“有些”的意思而不是做“其他”讲。
other adj.
其他的, 另外的, 从前的

the others
是“其余的”意思, 表示在一个范围内的其他全部, 如： This dictionary is better than the others. 这本字典比别[其余]的好。

the other
是其中的“另一个”, 如：Give me the other one
not this one. 给我那一个, 不是这一个。

sometimes表示“有时”的意思，例如：

sometime表示“某个时间”，例如：
Suddenly,I forget you sometime.
(突然，我在某个时间忘了你）

some time表示“一段时间”或是“一个时间段”
例如
I have got there some time.
(我已经到那里一段时间了）

some times表示“几次”，例如
I have met him some times.
(我已经见过他几次了)

others表示“剩下的”或是“其他的”的复数
比如说，一个班里有3个人，要表示除了一个人以外，还有两个人，就要用“others”

要表示出了两个人外还有一个人，就要用OTHER

至于在others,other前加the
则表示这些人是特指的
