建议用记事本打开这个文件，然后清空里面的内容。
默认的内容如下（也可清空）：

# This file contains the mappings of IP addresses to host names. Each
# entry should be kept on an individual line. The IP address should

# lines or following the machine name denoted by a '#' symbol.
#

hosts文件的作用就是用来直接将域名转换成IP，它比互联网的域名解析更优先。
格式是：
ip 域名
127.0.0.1 www.baidu.com
这样一来，访问百度的时候就强制指向到本机IP，达到了屏蔽这个网站的目的

所以，你的hosts文件里边如果有好多垃圾网站，这是好事，你肯定是用了360或其他的什么安全软件，他自动将垃圾网站强制指向到了一个无法访问的IP上面，起到了保护你的作用。

结论：没必要删除，留着比较好
